User Reviews

One of my favorite games ever. The charm, the wit, the art… This game really stands out as something special! There isn’t really a single thing I don’t like about the game and I’ve often revisited this game despite never doing so with other rpg games. So prepare to laugh and be swept away by the innocent and sweet nature of the game. It’s an all-time classic.

Everything about this game, except maybe the pacing, is nearly perfect. Some of the most inventive ideas, all seemingly random, yet all fitting together into such a wonderful experience. Some of my favorite boss battles come from this game (like it’s astounding Final Boss), some of my favorite situations too. (Zombie Paper! Who knew it was so simple?)

Not to mention, the OST is just amazing. It’s an extremely strange blend of genres, but it fits so well with just about everything they put in front of you.

overall, my actual favorite game of all time. Followed immediately by it’s sequel. 100/100

I haven’t finished it but I loved it while I was playing it and it is going to be my next game I play and I’m really excited to finish it. As of now I’d rate it 100/100

An amazing game, a “down-home” atmosphere, never forget to call your mom, scenarios funnier than any SNL skit, unforgettable enemy encounters, a soundtrack to DIE FOR, timeless artistic direction, etc. Earthbound is a solid 100/100.

One of my favorite games of all time. There’s definite issues with it though, difficulty spikes like Moonside and the initial arcade among others and the game is very long so it can be hard to actually finish if I’m replaying it because it’s just absolutely massive. Very fun though and I enjoy it every time I play it. 90/100

I was at a place called GameCo (some stank game chain in the mid-west that is now dead) circa 2004… I had some money and the dream of finding a game to play. Behind the counter under the glass I saw EarthBound! I plopped down $34.98 for a used loose copy and ended up taking my SNES to my brother’s house and playing it in its entirety over the course of that 3 day weekend. A magical experience for a young man to have.
