Are you into goth guys wearing a bunch of patches and studs on their vest too? These are the only people allowed to wear a studded belt.
They have never been cool.

This changes the dynamic slightly. Did you also wear a fake tattoo sleeve, and listen to Avril Lavigne music?
Not many people can pull off this look, but it is somewhat acceptable and perhaps even cool at the time.
