my parents were never there for me in any way

my dad played a lot of games. For nintendo he played the Mario series, but he also got me into Final Fantasy and LTTP. He would keep getting lost and I would watch and help him. He also always liked city builders like Sim City and UTOPIA on SNES. He still plays Sim City 4 a good amount today. 

My mom played mario kart and turned her entire body with her character. 

my dad used to play zelda with me and we played mario kart 64 now both my parents resent video games existing cuz i like em even tho my mom plays phone games 24/7!!!!!

Wow! Jyank's daddy is a gamer!!! Very nice. Refia can I get some insight into their resentment with video games? What's the beef? What sorta shit have they said?

Mom isn't much of a gamer, but she absolutely loves Tetris.

My dad is probably completely responsible for my interest in games, my earliest memories consist of sitting in his lap playing some games on his Amiga computer, playing Choplifter on the Atari 800XL in our basement, and getting a SNES for Christmas when I was 5 and playing Mario Kart! I chose Princess Toadstool and kicked his ass on our inaugural race.

Then later on long after the divorce he started playing SOCOM and we played together for many, many hours. After my mom moved away and I went to live with him, we got our WOW on into the early morning hours.

I miss him dearly, RIP.

okay mock's dad was the gamerist of em all so far. i rly think my dad would like more games if i just forced em into his life. I guess im bringing some stuff over to his house and permanently hooking it up.
