OMFG I finally did it! After a long session of XONIC SUPERBEAT I jumped into Mario Odyssey and went straight to the Metro Kingdom to face THE BEAST aka 100-jumps moon once more.

I COULD NOT DO IT. I tried every trick on reddit, I tried using the scooter, which got me my previous record of 83. I tried playing handheld, I tried different camera angles, playing blind and listening to different sounds, playing with a wired controller (Gamecube!), jumping and throwing cappy to get 2 at once. FAILURE AFTER FAILURE. I WAS A FAILURE.

Today though, ON MY FIRST ATTEMPT, I did 336! I was playing docked, with detached joycons, using small taps of the A button to get those short jumps. I credit training with XONIC before entering Mario for this wild success. 🙂
