NES of the Month #11 – Nazo no Murasamejou!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s Zelda I on steroids!!!! Aliens are taking over in Japan in the Edo period, corrupting daimyos and using them for their own purposes and YOU gotta help kill em!!!! UNLIKE Zelda I, this is straight up more-or-less-linear action, and PACKED with it!!!!!!! Now I’ve mentioned this game before but I thought it was high time it got featured. It’s short but it gets hard near the end. It was released on 3ds, so it’s easy to get!!!! You may want to look up what the powerups do as you play or just fool around!! This game is a classic and still very fun to play. Hang in there gamer, I know you can make it to the end.

90/100 | Some minor annoyances with RNG aside, this is a really solid (and hard!) game. I think this is one of the best Famicom Disk System games, but that’s not very hard because most of them are porn games. Still, it’s like Zelda I if it were linear and more action-focused and even harder. Really fun game. |
